I hold a Licentiate Diploma in Classical Guitar Teaching from the Royal Academy of Music. Also, I have a masters degree (with distinction) and a bachelors degree in musicology from University College Dublin. I have been teaching full-time since 2007 in Dun Laoghaire Music Centre, University College Dublin, Cólaiste Dhulaigh and Newpark Music Centre. I mainly teach classical, but have experience teaching all styles. Students typically learn chords, scales, how to read music, pieces from the classical guitar repertoire, posture, technique, improvisation, rhythmic understanding, composition and some theory. Classes take place on Synge Street, Dublin 8 and are charged at the going rate. I can teach through English or Spanish at all levels up to and including Diploma.
